Unlocking the Potential of Every Baby to Grow Up Safe, Healthy and Educated

As many as 91,000 New Jersey infants and toddlers live in low-income families. Our goal is that nearly half will have access to high-quality child care, family supports, and/or physical and mental health services by 2023.

Think Babies NJ

The science is clear.

Our brains grow faster between the ages of 0 and 3 than at any other point in life. Those first few years lay the foundation for the rest of a child’s life, affecting everything from classroom performance, to earning potential, to life expectancy.
The moment is now.

We all have a role in achieving equity and eliminating disparities that impact outcomes for babies, families and communities. Strong early childhood programs and policies result in a significant return on investment.
