As the child of an incarcerated parent and member of a community affected by peer policing, Cynthia Mendoza’s passion is to pursue a career in policy reform and advocacy. She hopes to contribute to community-based alternatives to youth incarceration. Cynthia is committed to building a more humane, accessible, and rehabilitative legal system for all. She is a rising 2L and first-generation law student at Rutgers Law School.
