ACNJ’s latest report says New Jersey’s efforts to improve child care quality is a good first step, but needs to go farther to ensure that young children receive the best possible care during their most formative years.
This report, Grow NJ Kids: First Steps Toward Quality Child Care, details the state’s plan to implement a “Quality Rating and Improvement System” (QRIS) to give parents a reliable source of information about child care programs and help child care providers improve the quality of care they offer.
