Supporting Young Families: A Holistic Approach to Parenting, Education and Opportunity

This session explores comprehensive support services for pregnant and parenting young people ages 13-26, including both mothers and fathers. Learn how culturally responsive care, childbirth education, dad doulas, and access to essential resources such as WIC, SNAP, housing assistance, and parenting programs help create positive birth experiences and stronger family outcomes. The presentation also highlights strategies that support young parents in continuing their education, pursuing vocational training, and entering the workforce, ensuring they have the tools and opportunities needed to build successful futures for themselves and their children.
